Quality of life is good. Irish people are friendly. The Irish have a very easy-going nature, so things are not as rushed and pressurised as in some countries. Ireland is very beautiful. While the weather isn't always good, Ireland does not get the extremes of hot and cold, and does not get extreme weather like hurricanes. Natural disasters don't really happen in Ireland, like volcanoes or earthquakes. Ireland has a rich and unique culture in terms of things like music, literature, the arts, sport etc. It is a peaceful democratic country, and so it is safe to live in. So there are many reasons why Ireland is a desirable place to live.
