What do you call a female captain of a ship?

There is a lot of sexism in the field of piracy. Most pirates at the present time come from Somalia, which is a Muslim nation in which women do not enjoy the same rights as men. I am not aware that there has ever been such a thing as a female pirate captain. On the other hand, pirates make their own rules. I see no reason why it would be impossible for a woman to recruit a crew (most likely an all female crew) and acquire a ship of some sort, and set forth to plunder the seas, just as male pirates do. I don't recommend it, however, it could be done, at least in principle.
