Later the Brits along with the USA and many other allies went against the Nazis in all of the Western European nations under Hitler's control on June 6, 1944. It took nearly year to free Europe in the west.

The Red Army too went against the Nazis in their own nation and later through the Eastern European nations. They defeated the Nazis finally in Berlin Germany in May of 1945 when the Nazi's ultimately surrendered to the Brits and Americans and the next day to the Reds.

The concentration camps were found and most of the people there were dying. Some survived and were eventually sent to other nations to live a free life.
