(Having) Butterflies in one's stomach is a figure of speech. It is used to describe a certain sensation one would feel in their stomach when being nervous or in love.

Not really. A figure of speech is when language diverts from its normal use, and uses words in special ways to promote particular meaning. For example, "falling in love" is a figure of speech, but it does not involve any falling of any sort. So, "Easter egg" isn't really a figure of speech. Chocolate is shaped to form eggs. Or real eggs are blown out, then dyed or decorated. They are eggs specifically for Easter, and the terminology relates directly to both Easter and eggs.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to tell a girl you love her and i would know. But the best way is not to tell her but to let her figure it out by your actions and how you treat her. THen if she asks you tell her the truth
The figure of speech used in Emily Dickinson's line "A wounded deer leaps highest" is a simile. This is because it makes a comparison between two unlike things using the word "like" or "as" (in this case, comparing a wounded deer to someone hurt in love).
