I am a Ichthyologists I study fish and know very well about the topic betta fish.
As most people know, never put more than one male betta fish in a tank at a time. They will fight to the death, often killing both.
Bettas cannot get along with any other fish. Not even their own kind. They always fight. If they have younglings there is a good chance they will eat them.
i am an expert in aquarism and i suggest... Tetras Rasboros black mystery snails ghost shrimp palamonetes plecostomuses cory cats and khuli loaches (interesting)
any peaceful community fish can live with a betta fish, unless it has long, flowing, colorful fins. ask the staff at the pet store if you are unsure.
zebra fish and African dwarf frogs
betas are carnivores.try blood worms.
Answer. I am not to sure about this but I think Betas originated from China
No. Male bettas can be kept in community aquariums, but should not be kept with fish that look anything like they do, or are small enough to eat. A male betta will mistake a guppy for another betta and kill it. Female bettas, however, can be kept with other "betta-like" fish without a problem.
betas eat beta food noe u cant buy the cheap goldfish food b/c that will more than likely kill ur beta GOOD LUCK!
Betta's are pretty good with other fish, it's rare that they will fight, maybe with other betta's

Yes
yupers
Labyrinth fish such as gouramis and betas.
Betas are brown in the wild because some Betas live in mud, and feed off of flys and small insect's. Betas are livebearers. Betas also somtimes eat other fish.
They are not scared. They attack the reflection in the mirror. Male betas are aggressive toward other male betas, so when they see there reflection, they flare up and try to attack the "other fish."
No, they are to different types of fish and it would be impossible to breed them.
It means the fish is comming into or is in breeding readiness.
You can feed them most fish food, they aren't picky like betas.
There are not many fish that are compatible with Angelfish. Only Angelfish are truly compatible with Angelfish.
