The LAMPREY,

a long serpent like fish with no bones, so elastic its head can twist all the way around and backwards. It has a suction cup instead of jaws. Inside of this is rows and rows of sharp teeth. The lamprey has one nostril like a whales blow hole on its head. It has a row of hole like operculum that act as openings to the gills so the fish can breath. They are slimy ornery creatures when handled. The lamprey can detect electrical fields generated by muscle movements of prey. These creatures look almost identical to leeches, but they have eyes and are a foot to three feet long.
