Example.

Starting with a single bacterial organism, it would start to consume microscopic portions of the food substance in order to produce said food substance into energy. The bacterial organism would then start to divide and multiply. Some bacteria can form spores when it cannot survive very well (such as in freezing temperature) and then take off the spore "barrier" when multiplication and feeding conditions are better. Bacteria can grow very rapidly if it is left in the "temperature danger zone" which is 41 F - 135 F ( 5 C - 57 C). If food is left in these temperatures a single bacterial organism can multiply up to a billion in 10 hours.

Smack dab in the middle of these two temperatures is the human body temperature 98.6 F. It is imperative to make sure to take the proper precautions as to not promote the growth of bacteria on food as our body temperature is a prime environment for bacterial growth.

Here ya go buddy...

Bacteria grow most rapidly in the range of temperatures between 40 ° and 140 °F, doubling in number in as little as 20 minutes. This range of temperatures is often called the "Danger Zone." That's why the Meat and Poultry Hotline advises consumers to never leave food out of refrigeration over 2 hours. If the temperature is above 90 °F, food should not be left out more than 1 hour.

Ohh btw it smells really bad too

Bacteria require food which contains proteins in order to grow therefore any food high in protein such as raw chicken or beef are good foods for bacteria to grow on. The bacteria must also have water from the food therefore dried protein powders are not at high risk for bacteria.

Yes, it can. Food is one of the best places it can grow, because the raw materials are readily available for many kinds of microbes.

The main function of a refrigerator is to slow down the rate of the growth of bacteria in food. As a result, bacteria grows at a much slower rate in the refrigerator than in room temperature.

Does bacteria in food multiple slowly at room temperature?

That will depend upon the specific bacterium. Some will grow rapidly at room temperature, others will not.

What is the temperature grow in bacteria?

There are a few different temperatures that allow you to grow bacteria. Warm temperatures tend to grow bacteria rather well.

Why does bacteria grow fastest at room temperature?

It is actually wrong. The bacteria grow fastest in incubators.

Explain why bacteria do not completely engulf the earth even though they reproduce rapidly enough to do so?

Bacterial growth is constrained by several parameters such as the level of nutrients around them, the temperature they grow at, pH and whether they grow in air or not just to name a few. No single bacteria can grow in all conditions so therefore bacteria can never engulf the earth. Most bacteria have fairly specific growth conditions.

What happens in the lag phase of bacterial growth?

Bacteria grow most rapidly during the log phase.

Why does a number or bacteria grow more rapidly over time?

Perhaps it is because it may be growing exponentially.

Pathogenic bacteria grow best at body temperature?

4.6-7.5

Why are shallow containers best for refrigerating food?

Food that needs refrigeration should be cooled as rapidly as possible and held at that temperature. Shallow containers allow food to cool quickly, lowering the chances for bacteria to grow.

How does nutrient agar work?

Agar is a gelatinous substance procured from algae, and used in bacteria cultures. It works simply to feed the bacteria and let it grow rapidly.

Does bacteria die when in the freezer?

Yep. There are some uncommon bacteria (psycrophiles) that are able to grow at low temperature, as Arthrobacter.

What temperature does bacteria grow in?

It grows best around body temp 37c

Why is it dangerous to defrost frozen meats at room temperature?

Because pathogenic bacteria love to grow at room temperature.
