Buddhists are allowed to eat anything that is offered to them, including meat and fish, as long as they did not kill the meat or fish or the meat or fish was not killed specifically for them. The Buddha ate meat and actually died after eating tainted pork. Many Buddhists are vegetarians because of their compassion for all sentient beings; that is, if they stopped eating meat and fish then there would be less of a need for producers to kill the animals and fish.

Whatever you or your friends eat might be a Buddhists breakfast in your area. With the exception of drugs or animals killed specifically for their consumption Buddhists have few dietary restrictions. Many are vegetarians from personal choice.

I doubt it makes a difference in your life. I have to eat fruit before breakfast, while my friend its fruit after breakfast. As long as you eat fruit, its all good. But possibly you get more nutrition from the fruit when you eat it before breakfast.
it is real bad to not eat breakfast. take it from someone who knows it. breakfast is your energy in the morning. you may not be hungry, but you should still eat.
