The engine creates thrust.
Gasoline and air mix together before entering the cylinder. soon as the intake valve opens the mixture is compressed and it is ignited by the spark plug. (this action creates pressure which pushes the piston down and making the engine turn). after the mixture of air and gasoline is ignited it creates a chemical reaction, the air and gasoline is burned and it creates Carbon monoxide.
Newton's third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In planes, this is embodied by the combustion of fuel in a jet engine. As it exits the engine under pressure it has momentum - the oppsite action is the plane moving forward. Bernoulli's principle involves the idea that faster moving air has a lower pressure and that the converse is true. The shape of wings and propellors creates a faster flow over one surface compared to the other; this creates a pressure differential and pushes/pulls the the wing/propellor in the desired direction (forward or up).
Thrust refers to the force exerted by a fluid or gas on a surface, typically in a specific direction. It is a measure of the force that propels an object forward. Pressure, on the other hand, is the force exerted by a fluid per unit area. It is a measure of how forceful the fluid is acting on a surface, regardless of the direction.
The heat engine burns a fuel in order to create heat. This heat is then transferred in mechanical energy which creates motion.
The fuel injection timing in a gas engine will not affect the mean effective pressure. In a diesel engine is the principal factor managing the bmep. In a gas engine the fuel injection timing have to match the events of valve opening or tuned induction but have nothing to do with mean effective pressure.
injection of fuel at high pressure is done directly into the cylinder where combustion occurs.
Electronic Fuel Injection assures a steady pressurized flow of gasoline into the combustion chambers of the engine. A mechanical pump maintains the pressure instead of vacuum pressure as it was in normally asperated engines.
Fuel injection pump
With key on engine not running pressure should be 9 to 13 psi Engine at idle pressure should decrease by 3 to 10 psi on a throttle body. On a multi port injection key on engine not running pressure should be 41 to 47 psi. Engine running at idle pressure should decrease 3 to 10 psi. Central multiport fuel injection key on not running should be 58 to 64 psi. Engine running at idle pressure should decrease 3 to 10 psi. Central sequential electronic fuel injection key on not running pressure should be 55 to 61 psi. Engine running at idle pressure should decrease 3 to 10 psi.
HDI is High pressure Direct Injection engine that is found in diesel cars. Fuel is injected into the combustion changer under high pressure.
In common rail direct injection (DICOR) engine used in multicylender & main function is to provided the fuel in equal amount of in all cylender & the pressure of the fuel is high for atomised (Vaporized) the fuel & these atomised the fuel is reduces the knoking problem.Regarding this high pressure is use.
Fuel pressure from the fuel pump and a signal from the ECM (Engine Control Module) to open.
HPI = High Pressure Injection. It is used mainly in diesel engine to inject diesel into the cylinder
Assuming that is throttle body fuel injection, 41 to 47 psi.
A common rail diesel engine is similar to a conventional diesel engine, only difference being the fuel injection system(FIS).The common rail direct injection system uses electronic circuits to control the amount of fuel that is injected in to the cylinder. Also the time of injection(TI), Start of injection (SOI), Injection quantity (Q), and the injection pressure (P) are all accurately controlled with ecu in this technology. A high pressure pump(HPP), driven from Engine shaft, is used to pump in high pressure fuel from the tank and deliver it to the common rail. A common rail is nothing but a hollow shaft to which the fuel is delivered and maintained at a very high pressure of about 2000 bar.during the firing sequence of that particular cylinder, the high pressure electronically operated injector will be opened and fuel with a pressure of about 2000 bar is injected in to the cylinder. This high pressure fuel cloud will be automised completely and leads to complete combustion of the fuel, thus avoiding emission.
HDI (High pressure Direct Injection) Used in diesel engines this technology gives better fuel economy and less engine noise.
