when gravity pulls us down we are supposed to continue falling until we enter the center of the earth. However a pieace of rock for example falling under the effect of gravity will stop when it hits the floor. The gravity is still applied on it, or else it wont have weight, however the resistance of the ground will prevent the rock from keeping falling down. this resistance occurs due to the repulsion between the rock's electrons and the ground's electrons.
friction
weight, The weight of an object is the force of gravity acting on it.
I have no idea what you mean - the force of gravity acts everywhere.
The force exerted by the earth towards itself, known as the gravitational force is called that gravity is acting on you.
Gravity must be the only force acting on the object, to produce downwards vertical acceleration. There is no force acting in the horizontal direction because there is no acceleration.
g force
Zero. "Terminal velocity" means that the object is no longer accelerating; the downward force of gravity and the upward force of resistance are in balance.
The force acting upon it is energy.
That's usually called the object's "weight". Like say if you're talking about the forces of gravity between you and the Earth, the force of gravity acting on you is your weight on the Earth, and the force of gravity acting on the Earth is the Earth's weight on you, and they're equal.
Gravity is a force and any force acting on a body changes its velocity in the direction of the force.
The force of gravity on an object is called its weight.Note that mass is what CAUSES this force of gravity.
