kinetic energy
An Electro Motive Force "EMF".
Thrust from the combustion of rocket fuel.
To move an object forward from rest the thrust of forward force must be greater than the drag acting in the opposite direction. In order to keep moving at a constant velocity the forward force must equal the drag.
gravitational force
It is easier to balance a bicycle rolling forward than at rest because when rolling forward, you can move the support points, the tire contact patches, from side to side merely by steering the front wheel and thus keep them under the center of mass.
Pushing down on the pedal will cause the bike to move forward.
When you ride a bicycle, the force of the wheel against the earth causes the earth to push back on the wheel, propelling the bike forward, according to Newton's law of equal and opposite reactions. If the force exerted by the earth is strong enough, it can overcome the inertia of the bike.
It is the force of inertia.
A combination of inertia and centrifugal force. The wheels, once rotating, create centrifugal force which in conjunction with gravity cause the bicycle to move forward creating inertia. the more energy put into the bike via the drivetrain, the more inertia is created and the more stable the bike becomes.
When a force makes an object move, work is done.
The main rotor is tilted forward.
The natural force wind makes the leaves plants move.
This is not a force, but your conservation of momentum. For there to be a force, you must have some acceleration, but what you feel is actually your body attempting to continue moving forward until the force of friction and force normal of your seat belt decelerate you.
Friction makes it harder to move things.
forward friction on the tyres from the road..
Asssuming it's not locked, broken or anything it'll move forward when you put pressure on a pedal that is pointing forward.
In the ocean yes, waves cause water to move forwards and backwards.
