How did hades kidnap Persephone?
The only reason why Hades kidnapped Persephone was because Persephone was a very beautiful women, Hades wanted here for himself. So when Persephone was pick flowers in the meadow she saw a pretty flower so Persephone pulled on the flower it would not budged so she pulled and pulled until it finally gave in and let go. When the flower gave in the ground started to move and out popped Hades in his carriage and kidnapped Persephone

Demeter is too depressed to work with her daughter gone, so crops won't grow in the winter. When Persephone is with her mother, crops flourish.
