a. As a US citizen or green card holder a person can petition for his relatives using Form I-130.

b. The employer can also petition for employee using Form I-140.

c. After marriage once the spouse enters US they are given a conditional status valid for two years. The conditions can be removed after two years of successful marriage using Form I-751.

d.applicant can apply through the green card lottery system which happens once a year.
