Seismic waves are the forms of energy produced by an earthquake.
False. While sound energy does travel in waves, other forms of energy, such as light and water waves, also travel in wave patterns.
No, all forms of energy cannot travel in a vacuum. We know that electromagnetic energy (like light or radio waves) can travel in a vacuum. So can gravity waves. But mechanical energy (like sound) cannot.
Seismic Waves
Seismic Waves
Both are forms of electromagnetic energy and travel at the same speed, which is the speed of light.
Seismic waves are the forms of energy produced by an earthquake.
In short, no. Most energy that travels via waves is electromagnetic, although sound (and probably a few other types of energy) travels has waveforms too. A couple of examples of energy that don't travel in waves are potential energy, kinetic energy and chemical energy. Thermal energy can travel via waves as radiation energy (electromagnetic). Other forms of thermal energy transfer doesn't travel in waves.

Kinetic and electromagnetic energy can travel in waves.
Take your pick: water waves, sound waves, electromagnetic waves, gravitational waves.
