It's actually pretty simple to get the Fossil on Pokémon Emerald. First you go to Fallarbor Town, then go all the way to the edge of the town (Route 114). Then, you go to the Fossil Maniac's house. Then go all the way back to the tunnel he dug. The tunnel should be called Desert Underpass. Once you get in, walk as far as possible to the right, and eventually you will see a fossil, and it will be the Fossil you didn't choose in Mirage Tower! You definetely need the National Pokédex to unlock the tunnel!
you take the fossil to rustboro city and take it to the building where you got the POKENAV talk to the guy on the 2nd floor in the bottom right hand corner, give him the fossil and go talk to Mr.Stone. After that go to the same guy yougave the fossil to and he will give you a ancient pokemon. claw fossil:anorith root fossil:lileep
there are 2 fossils actually. although, u can only get one. in the desert, there is something called the mirage tower. it is sometimes there, and sometimes not. if u go to the desert, always bring the mach bike, you will need it to get up to the top. there are floor panels that crack if u walk on them. go to the top, and if u choose one fossil, the other wil fall, so save before u grab it. and u can always go back. one is called the root fossil, and it gives a plant pokemon(the name of which has slipped my mind) and the other s the claw fossil. i reccomend the claw fossill, as it is more powerful. go to the guy in the inventing place i that one city where u got a pokenav, and he will regenerate it for u.
Pick a fossil from the Mirage Tower. It doesn't matter which, whichever one you fancy. Afterwards. It's actually pretty simple to get the other Fossil on Pokémon Emerald. You go to Fallarbor Town, then go all the way to the edge of the town (Route 114).
As Far As I Know, It Is Impossible To Aquire Both The Root And Claw Fossil In The Mirage Tower As One Of Them Will Dissapear Into The Sand. The Game Was Designed For You To Only Take One Of The Two, And So I Would Consider It An Impossibility To Get Both. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I heard online that the other fossil can be found in the Desert Underpass after defeating the Hoenn Elite Four and Champion.
go into the desert, and find the mirage tower
mirage tower or desert underpass
they are at the top of mirage tower the tower in the desert north of mauville city
Mirage tower and underground tunnel in the fossil maniacs house.
From Prince Kayne:on certain days/times a tower appears the Mirage Tower near the southern entrance of the desert.
mirage tower only appears in pokemon emerald.
In Pokémon Emerald, Mirage Tower will appear in the Desert that is to the North of Mauville City however it will only appear once you have spoken to the Ruin Maniac in Fallarbor Town. Once you head into the Mirage Tower, you will need to use the Bike that is the Mach Spike because of the various sensitive cracks in the floors. However once you have picked 1 of the Fossils then it (the Mirage Tower) will disappear and it will not return at all.
the fossils are in this really big sand tower that acts just like mirage island. you need rock smash to get to the fossils, other that that its just the same old lileep and anorith
You can Get Two. One in the Mirage tower and the one you didnt choose in the ruin maniacs house my verdnandurf city
In Pokemon Emerald, both the Root and Claw fossils can be obtained. One may be selected at Mirage Tower and the other will be found at the end of the Desert Underpass.
its in the underground u get the underground kit the house next to the poke center in eterna city :)
The top floor contains two fossils. To get to the top, a Mach Bike and HM06 (Rock Smash) are required. Wild Sandshrew and Trapinch can be found in the tower.
