Gentleness, Piety, Fear of the Lord.
When a person is "Born Again" or becomes a true Christian, they receive the Holy Spirit and He dwells in them forever. But you can "grieve" the Holy Spirit by continual sinning and by not repenting and confessing your sin to God. The Holy Spirit still dwells in you but will not respond to you or give you comfort, in fact He will cause you misery until you stop your sin and confess it to God. When you "get right" with God the Holy Spirit will be evident in your life again.
Saint Anthony demonstrated the fruits of the Holy Spirit in his life through his humility, compassion, and selflessness. He practiced forgiveness, generosity, and faithfulness, reflecting the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in his actions.

That is the sole purpose of man.
