oxygen
Oxygen
carbon dioxide used by plants in photosynthesis
I don't think it is a gas when inside the plant, but most animals/plants need it.
Plants need carbon dioxide gas to perform photosynthesis and make food.
Plants let out gases. This gas is called oxgen which animals and humans need to breathe so we can live. Animals let out a gas called carbon dioxide and the plants need to take in the carbon dioxide to live.
carbon dioxide
Plants give of oxygen and need to use carbon dioxide and sunlight to make food. This makes them perfect partners to animals since we give off carbon dioxide and need oxygen to make ATP (energy).
Animals need oxygen to carry out life processes. Plants need carbon dioxide. Some animals and plants can use either if they need to.
Oxygen is the gas produced by green plants during the process of photosynthesis, which animals then use for respiration. This helps to create a suitable environment for animals to live in.
Carbon dioxide
Oxygen is a product of photosynthesis that is used by plants and animals for respiration.
Plants are the only things that actually produce food. With the energy provided by sunlight, they combine carbon dioxide gas from the air with water to make sugars. Herbivorous animals obtain their energy by eating plants. Carnivorous animals eat herbivores (and sometimes other carnivores) so their energy ultimately comes from plants too (by way of other animals). Plants also provide shelter for animals.
