It is entirely possible that they may have made a couple examples that were 8 gauge or even 4 gauge, particularly as double rifles. They also may have made a few 14 gauge, 15 gauge and 24 gauge guns in their history. (obscure gauges from the 19th century for the former two, an obscure early 20th century gauge for the latter)
