80 GB PS3 come in two models and only one can play most PS2 games. The first 80 GB model has 4 USB ports and is capable of playing PS2 games. The second PS3 is part of the 3rd generation of PS3 model and includes models with the 40 GB, 80 GB and 160 GB harddrives and only 2 USB Ports and none of these can play PS2 games. The 4th Generation is also called the PS3 slim 120 GB and 250 GB models and also can not play PS2 games.
