I would say boys are most effected by any type of media bacause they are always trying to impress and/or prove that they are the best at everything. it is an impulsive thing that they naturaly do. In nature, the male animal has to be stronger than all the other males so that the females will pick them. same with humans so they will not think about the harm they can do to themselves and others. they just do it.

How do media images help teach us about gender?

Media images can perpetuate gender stereotypes by reinforcing traditional ideas of masculinity and femininity. They influence our understanding of gender roles, expectations, and norms by portraying certain behaviors, appearances, and characteristics as inherently masculine or feminine. This can shape how individuals perceive themselves and others based on their gender.
