You should write the genre that you most like to read!
You do not write to make people like you - you write what makes you have strong emotion. Songs and stories written because the author thought they would be popular end up being boring because there is no emotion.
The city of Ember, beleive it or not, is real! Im not talking about the city in the book by Jeanne DuPrau, but the actual city in Burlington, in Europe. It was used during the Cold War, and like the book, is subterranian. This is probably where the author of the book got her idea. maybe :D
like the place is bad and does not like it
In "The People of Sparks" by Jeanne DuPrau, figurative language enhances the storytelling, such as similes and metaphors. For example, the description of the town’s atmosphere may evoke imagery like "the streets buzzed like a beehive," illustrating the bustling community. Additionally, characters' emotions are often conveyed through metaphors, such as feeling "like a candle flickering in the wind," which captures their vulnerability and resilience. These devices enrich the narrative and deepen the reader's connection to the characters and their experiences.
