It's a very hard question to answer, for there is a lot of freedom in this question, so eventually there is a lot of freedom in the answer. For one a queen of classical music can be not more than a mere princess for one other. And then there is the broad variety of classical music or music considered 'classical'. For many people Maria Callas is considered a queen of classical music, but only for them who prefer Opera's female performers, than again in the same genre Elisabeth Schwartzkopf or Montserrat Caballé could be considered queens. Maybe you like female violinists, you could consider Janine Jansen a queen, but what about Vanessa Mae? The same with cellists, Jaqueline Du Pré? Every genre of classical music has her own queen, but only you as listener can crown her queen of that genre. For me I don't consider Maria Callas the queen of female classical performers, millions will disagree with me, than again millions will agree with that statement. I prefer Damrau or Tebaldi and even Fillipa Giordano gets more 'queenpoints'. Consider the queen in the ears of the listener, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
