Several cable news stations have produced documentaries about President Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, for example. Years from now, you might see a fictional movie about President Obama, and it would be a "historical drama," like the current hit movie about Abraham Lincoln-- it would be based on fact, but would have some parts of the plot slightly exaggerated or enhanced, in order to increase the drama in the story.
