Led Zeppelin made an influence on the way we perform rock and roll today... They introduced new genres and combined new instruments together... They made a HUGE breakthrough with the song, "Stairway to Heaven". This was a long song (roughly 7-8 minutes) which impacted the rock and roll genre at that time... New musical genres combined with old ensured they made an impact on Rock and Roll
Rock and Roll
While the Harlem Renaissance was a vibrant period that gave rise to genres like jazz and blues, rock and roll did not originate from this movement. Rock and roll emerged in the 1950s, influenced by earlier genres such as rhythm and blues, country, and gospel music. The Harlem Renaissance primarily focused on the cultural and artistic expressions of African Americans, setting the stage for various musical developments, but rock and roll evolved later as a distinct genre.
Elvis Presley sang genres of Rock n Roll, Gospel, Country and Rock.
It's a mixture all kinds of genres. It has influences from Indie rock, Blues, Rock 'N Roll, Rockabilly, Pop...all kinds of things really.
Rock-n-roll
Rock n roll is a genre of music, usually having a singer, a drummer, a guitarist, and a bassist.
Elvis had many Genres, including; rock n' roll, rockabilly, pop, R&B and chapel. The song Jailhouse Rock in my opinion fits under rockabilly- its more country/rock than just pure rock.. oh and Jailhouse rock came out in '57 as Elvis came out of his Rockabilly style of music
blues
Not in my opinion. It is a genre of music.
