Taupo
Taupo was created in 1869.
Not sure which one you are seeking, but the capital is Wellington. Other cities include: Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Tauranga, Napier, Hastings, Rotorua, Taupo, Gisborne, Wanganui, Invercargill, Nelson and Whangarei.

About 5 hours and 15 minutes.
