Poseidon gave Demeter a magnificent white horse named Arion as a gift to win her love.
The creature created by Poseidon for Demeter was the horse. Poseidon struck the ground with his trident, creating the first horse to appease Demeter after she had been mourning the loss of her daughter, Persephone.
She did not, one story in Greek myths tells that Athena and Poseidon fought over a town to see who could give it a better gift, Poseidon gave them salt water that did nothing for them, and Athena gave them an olive tree.
give her your love and a big gift give her your love and a big gift
Zeus, with whom she had Persephone. Poseidon, with whom she had Arion and Despoena (this was not 'love' but a rape). Iasion, with whom she had Ploutos and Bootes. Carmanor, with whom she had Eubouleus and Chrysothemis. Mekon was also loved by Demeter, and transformed into a poppy flower.
The greastest gift you can give anyone is your love. If they say any different, they don't love you.
Cronos and Rhea are her parents. Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, and Hestia are her siblings. Persephone is Demeter and Zeus's daughter. Demeter bore two children by Poseidon (a daughter and a horse). She also had mortal love intrests named Iasion, Karmanor, and Mekon (she turned Mekon into a poppy flower). the rest of the Olympian gods are also her family such as neices, nephews etc.
No he wasn't he just sought after her once. However, she turned into a mare and so he turned into a horse. Together they produced Arion, the talking stallion.
