What gifts are good for 10 year olds?

NOT dolls. Don't get her any dolls. Get her something she would use for a long time.

1) An iPod! An iPod Shuffle is good for a 10 year old. If you REALLY want to be cool, download some cool songs onto it before you give it to her. Black Eyed Peas, Hannah Montana (BE SURE SHE LIKES HANNAH MONTANA, lots of girls HATE Hannah Montana. I don't like Hannah Montana AT ALL.), Evanesence (I love this band, and I'M 10. Be sure she likes Rock Music if you get her this), and P!nk (Be sure the songs are censored. A lot of her songs have "bad words.") This costs a mere $40-$50 dollars.

2) An Uglydoll! These are about $20, and you can only get them online. They are cute little sidekicks. You might be thinking: "Didn't she say NOT dolls?" Uglydolls are really cool, and I consider them a sidekick, not a doll. Go to uglydoll.com. I bet you'll want to get her one!

3) A stationary kit! I love artsy crafty stuff, and sending letters, and this is a WIN-WIN! You can send fancy letters to friends, or family you hardly ever talk to. If she's a girly girl, get her a pink-cutesy one. If she's on the tomboy side, get a plain-ish one with a few cool dragons on it or something like that. These are usually $10-$15.

4) A giftcard! You can never go wrong with one. Get one for Aeropostale if she likes clothes, or Claire's. Or if you have no idea what stores she likes, get her a Vista giftcard, which is at Walmart. Don't get her one for like $5, she wouldn't like that. Get one for around $20.

5) Art! Blank canvases are really inspirational for 10 year olds. Colored pencils, or even an easel, are really cool. These are good for not girly girls, but tomboys. These are usually $10 for the canvases, and $30 dollars for an easel

6) A North Face! A North Face is a really nice jacket. There are many different colors, but I recommend black or brown. DO NOT get her a light color such as light pink or light blue because they start looking really discusting and dirty. These a pricey, being around $100-$120.
