I just took a course to qualify for a Gun Carry Permit or a License To Carry. Most states require a training class. After you receive a certificate, you take that to the State Driver's License department and get finger-printed and photographed. They perform a background check on you. Then they will issue you an ID card that authorizes you to carry a gun---Men or Women. Each State is different and has different Laws and Requirements. Recommend you contact a Gun Range or Gun Shop or your local government.
