I don't know the name of the hormone but I do know that it signals other glands to produce growth hormones.
The pituitary gland controls many of the body's functions.
The adrenals and pituitary are examples of endocrine glands. The adrenal glands produce hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, while the pituitary gland controls several other hormone-secreting glands in the body. Hormone levels are controlled by the pituitary glands. Depends on the hormone. Blood sugar is decreased by the pancreas releasing insulin.
