Yes. Rajputs can be of Kashyap gotra. The lineage of Rajputras that were shishyas of Maharishi Kashyap would be Rajputs of Kashyap Gotra.
Marraiage with in same Gotra is not good / not permitted. Any other Gotra is ok.
