You start taking the NJ ASK in 3rd grade. 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th graders take only language arts and math - each subjects is taken for two days, approximately 3-4 hours, taking breaks in the middle. 4th and 8th graders take language arts, math, and science. You stop taking the NJ ASK in 9th grade. So you take the NJ ASK until 8th grade.

No there is math on the first day of the NJ ASK for forth graders although there is math on the third and forth day while there is language arts literacy on the first and second day and science on the fifth day there is science. Only forth and eight graders take the science NJ ASK. NJ ASK stands for New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge.

This question really applies to who you are. If you haven't studied and you're not doing very well in school, than yes it would be hard. However, when I was in 4th grade, I'd get straight A+s in everything so for me, it wasn't very hard.
