It depends on the climate. If you are in a temperate zone like the United States then Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 (ACEA A1/B1) is by far the best grade to use. It's more expensive than regular mineral oil but will provide better protection during the critical start up period (When most damage can occur due to lack of lubrication) When you change the oil make sure you also change the Oil Filter and if it's been 12,000 miles since the Centrifugal Rotor was changed then change that as well.
