Controversy
ITT Tech was under federal investigation in 2004. The grand jury subpoenas that triggered the searches were issued by a U.S. District Court in Houston, and sought data on student placement, retention, attendance and grades, along with recruitment and admissions materials, graduate salaries, and transfers of credits to other schools. No charges were filed, and Michael Shelby, whose office was the one conducting the investigation, stressed that "no conclusions should be drawn from today's activity" [2]. Nevertheless, the investigation negatively affected the company's stock.
Take WARNING
This institution hides too much information that should be open disclosure. It is very expensive, it has been under investigation, and it does not have a regional accreditation (most important).
Save yourself a lot of regrets, and stay with regionally accredited institutions. There are so many good community and four year colleges. You do not have to burden yourself with this school that handles itself as a business.
