For NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Hairdressing you don't need any specific qualifications i.e. it doesnt really matter what GCSE's you do. but you may find business studies will help you if u wanna open up your own salon.

if hairdressing is something you really wanna do, then the main qualification you need is passion for the subject.

also, when you go into yr 10 and 11, u get the opportunity to do a week or 2 work experience in a work place of your choice, to get an idea of what a salon is like, it'd b a gd idea to do your work experience in a salon. they wont have you do anything scary like cut hair or whatever, but ud do the basic hairdressin duties such as sweeping, making tea/coffee, assisting stylists with passing up perm rods/rollers, and jus generally observin the salon environment.

but it still depends on the school you go to

You need at least a c average and complete and receive your high school diploma. Then you can go to Beauty schoool for about ten months full time.
