If you currently have a 2.45 GPA you'd have to earn .20 points to reach your 2.65 GPA.

Let's assume you take 4 classes (each at 3 credit hours) and score two A's, one B, and one C.

A's = 4.0

B's = 3.0

C's = 2.0

4.0 + 4.0 + 3.0 + 2.0 = 13.00 ÷ 4 = 3.25

3.25 + 2.45 = 5.70 ÷ 2 = 2.85 GPA. Surpassing your goal.

Now let's change the scenario and say you get one A, two B's and one C.

4.0 + 3.0 + 3.0 + 2.0 = 12.00 ÷ 4 = 3.00

3.00 + 2.45 = 5.45 ÷ 2 = 2.725 (2.73) GPA. Still surpassing your goal.

Finally let's change the scenario one last time and say you get no A's, one B, and three C's.

3.0 + 2.0 + 2.0 + 2.0 = 9.00 ÷ 4 = 2.25

2.25 + 2.45 = 4.70 ÷ 2 = 2.35, you'd actually lower your GPA.

So the conclusion is, If you were to take 4 classes at 3 credit hours and atleast an A, two or three B's or one or no C's, you'd achieve your GPA of 2.65.

Depends on the number of classes you have already taken to get a 2.5 because if you have only taken 6 classes then get a 4.0 in you next 6 classes then your GPA with sky rocket but if you have taken alot of classes then a 4.0 in one semester wont have such a big impact

How do you raise your GPA before the end of your junior year when it is a 3.3 to a 3.8?

The more credits you have accumulated, the more difficult it will be to raise the GPA. With a 3.3, you will have to achieve no less than a B+ (or 3.5) GPA to raise your GPA and that will not raise it significantly. You would have to strive for an A in all your courses. Still, a GPA of 3.3 is very good. Too many students strive for the grade. They would do much better if they strive to be a better professional within their field. Do the very best you can, and the grades will take care of themselves.

Can you raise your freshman and sophomore year cumulative GPA from 3.7 to a 3.9 How much total can you raise my GPA from the end of my sophomore year which is 3.7 to?

It is possible to raise a 3.7 GPA to a 3.9, but it will depend on the number of classes you take your junior and senior years and the grades you earn in those classes.

2.7 GPA want to raise it to 3.5?

In order to raise the GPA, each course you take in the future should be higher than the existing GPA. However, it is possible to do that with some courses and do poorly in others bringing the GPA down. An A in one course and a D in other will still bring the GPA down. Strive for the B and A grades which will help raise the GPA. Do it before you collect too many credits. The more credits you accumulate the less the higher grades will affect the GPA. Each college has an Academic Learning Center where you can receive tutoring in any subject area. Take advantage of it, and you will see a higher GPA. That being said, a 2.7 is not shabby, so do not beat yourself up! Still, I must say you can do better!

How much can a 3.4 GPA raise a 1.5 GPA?

You can't really raise a GPA. But it is a very good improvement! A 3.4 GPA is a B average while a 1.5 GPA is at a D average (Ouch!). Good job on your improvement, (if you did) or if that is just your goal, I wish you the best of luck on your journey to a 3.4 GPA!

If your GPA is a 1.98 can you bring it up to a 3.0 in one semester?

I don't know how much you could raise it. I guess it would depend on how low it was and how much better your grades are now. Even if it doesn't improve a big amount, it is still worth it to try. Every little bit counts. Even if you don't have a sky high GPA, colleges may still accept you.

How do you raise a GPA from 1.6 to 2.0 after graduation?

You can repeat courses you completed for a higher grade. I would look at the lowest grades, then repeat those courses which will raise your GPA. How long this will take depends on how many credits you have already earned. The more credits, the less the higher grade will affect the overall GPA. It will also depend on which grade you obtain in the course you repeat. Evidently, an A will affect the GPA more than a C+ or B. Take the lowest grades first and repeat them for a higher grade.

How do you raise a 1.2 GPA to a 3.0 GPA?

It depends mostly on how many classes you have taken already. If you've already failed a lot of classes and want to take some more new courses to get your GPA back up to 3.0, it will take at least 5 semesters full of classes; Fall, Spring, Summer and another Fall as well as Spring with at least 4 courses (12 credits) each semester. What I suggest is to retake the courses you have failed and pass them with A's. This will most likely get you to 3.0 in 4 or possibly 3 full semesters. The best thing to have done though was to not let your GPA get that low in the first place.
