No - they don't use 'leftover' parts ! Every PC is built to the end-user's individual requirements. Each user is an individual, therefore two people may request different motherboards, graphics cards etc. Subsequently, there is no 'standard specification' for Gateway computers. HOWEVER - if you supply them with the model numbers of your motherboard and graphics cards - they should be able to provide you with the specifications of the components.
