The Channel Islands National Park is located on the Channel Islands in California, USA. The closest city to the national park is Santa Barbara, California.
Santa Catalina Island. There are a number of islands out there, from about 20 miles to nearly 40 miles, but many of them are nature preserves, and San Clemente Island is a US Navy bombing range. The only island that has a song about it is Santa Catalina Island.
The Channel Islands (comprised of San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, Santa Barbara, San Clemente, San Nicolas, and Santa Catalina) lie off the coast of California. Alcatraz is also an island, but located within San Francisco Bay.
