Matt Bellamy usually uses his signature Manson MB-1 (Red Glitterati) with the X.Y Midi Pad on it for New Born.
Notes:
-He also uses a DigiTech Whammy Pedal for the guitar solo.
-His guitar is in Drop D tuning.
No, he doesn't
U2's The Edge would be a contender. He is known to use 23 different guitars for 25 different songs live. He also uses multiple delay effects strung together. Matt Bellamy of Muse is also known for elaborate guitar processing.
he most likely used a Manson guitar, he is famous for using these and they have a custom made series of Manson Guitars that are all Matt Bellamy-esque ( I have never seen the video but I'm assuming that's what he used since he always uses those) Matthew uses his M1D1 Black also known as the Kaoss Manson. Celebrity couple Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have a son named Bingham. Apparently, this is shortened to "Bing" for everyday use. The name Bingham is derived from an Old English surname of Anglo-Saxon origin.

Matt doesn't use a ton of effects for this one, actually. The synth intro isn't actually played on his guitar, although sometimes he does "lipsync" along to it. He does sometimes play it with funky octave effects, etc. But the main thing is his signature fuzzy/distorted sound. Then on the bridge you could use a phaser, and knowing Matt there's sure to be some delay throughout. But the main one is distortion, hands down. Also, make sure your guitar is tuned to Open G (DGDGBE), as that's how Matt actually plays the song, not in Drop D as some people think. Hope this helps! Jimbo
