Mainly low cost shotguns.
Sears SOLD guns until about 1989. Most of the guns sold by Sears said J C Higgins or Ted Williams- the Sears brands- but they were made by a gun making company for Sears. Savage, Mossberg, Marlin, High Standard, etc all made guns for Sears. However, between 1905 and 1918, Sears owned the Meriden Company, which made guns for Sears, as well as others. The guns were not marked Sears, but Meriden or AJ Aubrey.
Meriden was formed by Sears Roebuck to make guns for Sears in 1905. Their products were well made, but in general do not command extremely high collector prices. Meriden ceased production about 1918-1919. See the link below for a history of the company and its products. Without knowing make, model AND condition, we cannot really guess at a price for a gun. Sorry-
Eastern Arms Company was a trade name used by Sears Roebuck. The guns were manufactured by Meriden Arms, Iver Johnson, Stevens, Savage, and probably others.
This company was owned by Sears Roebuck and produced guns from 1905 to 1915.
I want to know the value of a #214 quadruple plate tankard made by meriden b company.
Are you sure that does not say Meriden- instead of Meridian? Meriden was a gunmaker in that time frame- they were owned by Sears, and made guns for them. If that is the name, value would depend on condition, but somewhere in the $150-$200 range. If you serach for Meriden Firearms, you can see the website with the company history.
