Oddly enough, I would say a brown color with a fair amount of red in it, a cinnamon brown or caramel brown. I would definitely stay away from blond.

Unless your hair is turning grey, I would recommend just keeping the color natural. But if you really wanted a change I would say that a nice red would work. I had my colour done and it looks lovely. I had to have a bleach bath though because of the darkness in my hair so if that is something you wouldn't consider then you should just stick to black.
