It takes affect quicker. Swallowing ecstasy usually takes 30 minutes to an hour to take affect where as most people find that snorting pills takes around 20 minutes to take affect.
Sometimes the high you get is changed, you are more likely to peak quicker and then platoon rather than feeling a gradual change.
