Peter preached his first sermon in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost, following the arrival of the Holy Spirit. This sermon is recorded in the New Testament in the book of Acts, chapter 2.
Yes. In the New Testament book of Acts chapter 15 Paul meets with the leaders (some of the 12 disciples) of the Jerusalem church
peter was one of jesus disciples and believed in him
Peter is not the devil. He was one of Jesus' disciples.
Look into the Bible in the book of Acts Chapter 2. You will find the disciples of Jesus received the Holy Spirit on the day of pentecost. You will see that when asked what was going on by people that were in the city, Peter a disciple of Jesus stood up with the other disciples and told the people what was happening. They also told them what they to needed to do to be saved. So though Jesus told the disciples what to do, it was Peter who preached the 1st lesson on salvation. This is where "pentecostal" belief started.
PETER
After Jesus, it was Peter.
Awaiting in Jerusalem for the Promised Holy Spirit, there seems to have been 120 disciples there:Acts 1:15New King James Version (NKJV) Matthias Chosen15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,
John was not the oldest of the disciples. It is believed that Peter was the oldest among the twelve disciples of Jesus.
Jesus? Those who were leaders in the early Christian community included people like James the brother of Jesus (who presided over the first church council in Jerusalem), Peter who preached the first sermon at Pentecost and Paul who brought the Gospel to the Gentiles.
andrew, peter, james and john were all fishermen
