What happened to people after they die?

Basically all living beings including plants and animals are a composite of energies. We are divided into 2 main group of energy; the energy of the body and the energy of the mind. Our body consist of energy of the 4 great elements, earth, water, fire and air while the mind consist of energy of the mind. The body grow with the multiplication of the 4 elements; the body of a baby has less elements than a fully grown adult, while the mind evolves to higher consciousness; the quality of mind of a good person (eg. Mother Teresa) or a monk or a priest has stronger mind than a thief or a rapist (whose mentality is worse). When a person dies the 4 elements of the body dissolve and return to its natural elements while the mind migrate to another body of his future life form, be it as an animal or human, form or formless depending on his evolution of his consciousness; the quality of his mind accrued during his present being and his past being - in other words, he is re-born with the same continuous mind but different body.

You are eaten by earthworms they poop out nutrient rich soil. Plants use your atoms as new body mass ( the body mass doesn't come out of nowhere this is called the law of conservation of mass) maybe an animal or a human eats a plant that was fertilized by your soil and those atoms become a part of them. This is kind of like reincarnation only with physical atoms not with a soul.

Any living thing that dies starts to decompose shortly after death.

You might as well add that the air we breathe in are filled with germs and other living atoms. These are biological debate of the issue, not the spiritual or beyond the body explaination.

Breifly in realitly their body would be decayed. But in accordining 2 many people after they die they would go to a place in the afterlife depending on their deeds! Hell would be a terrible place for the people who have done wrong and heaven is a beautiful place for the people who did good!
