Died is a verb. Someone can't be "died."
how should we know? we're not dead yet.
Died is a past tense of the word dead. Yes! you don't know what is happening after you died but we are aware that if someone died we saw there's no more movement physically, no heart beat, no brain activity, no breathing, Medically speaking "Clinically Dead" the body will decay afterwards. The body will turn into dust. But I think the question has something to do with, life after death.
