-The Sui dynasty of China invaded the Korean kingdom Goguryeo with a supposed force of over a million soldiers. This resulted in a tremendous Goguryeo victory and the destruction of the Chinese Sui dynasty.
Hideyoshi invaded Korea with designs of eventually conquering China. From the Korean's perspective, they didn't really care why they were being invaded. They just wanted to succesfully repel the invaders.
