A:Matthew's Gospel: Magi, or 'wise men', came following a star from the east to worship Jesus. They found Jesus in the house in Bethlehem where Joseph and Mary lived and brought him gifts. Afterwards, the young family fled from Bethlehem to Egypt for fear of King Herod, who sought to have Jesus killed.

Luke's Gospel: Shepherds came to worship Jesus. After 8 days he was circumcised according to custom. After 40 days, the young family travelled to Jerusalem to present Jesus at the Temple, where he was recognised as the Messiah, then returned peacefully to their home in Nazareth, never having to leave the kingdom ruled by King Herod.

How is it related to the birth of Jesus Christ?

Sorry, but you don't specify, 'what' you want to know about. But, I can assume it is probably about the date, or christmas.Date wise: 'BC'Such as 100BC, is a timing system. Right now, we are in 2011 AD, and 2,011 years ago, we were in 0AD. 2 years before that, we were in 2BC, and 2 years before that, in 4BC. This is all based around the birth of Jesus. BC stands for 'Before Christ'... And so, it has been, exactly, 2,011 years since Jesus was born.Christmas:What does Christmas have to do with Jesus' birth? Everything! Christmas (combined from 'Christ' and 'Mass') celebrates the birth of Jesus, and we give presents to each other, because that is what happened to Jesus, on the day of his birth.
