At zoos lions are fed goat meat or beef or chicken. In the wild lions prefer Zebra, buffalo, Gazelle etc. But, they are not available in zoos. So, zoo keepers feed them whatever meat is available. They usually feed lions steak at zoos. Mostly because lions like it and it makes the lions strong. Answer: Most Lions would be fed meat, probably in some mixture of different animals and parts of the animal. To help keep them healthy, and interested, but I am not sure about that.
