On September 11, 2001 Terrorists attacked both towers of the world trade center by flying planes into them killing thousands of people and collapsing both buildings. It was only time the U.S.A got attacked on home soil, except for Pearl Harbor. The same group of terrorists also flew a plane into the pentagon and failed an attempt to fly a plane into the White House.
