The Bible does not make much mention of what happened in the early life of Jesus, other than the story of when He was 12 years old and went to study in the Temple, and Mary and Joseph were upset.
These things were probably not mentioned because they are irrelevant to what the Bible is all about...to instruct us, comfort us, and most of all, lead us to salvation. If all the things were written about Jesus' childhood, and all the wonderful things He did, there would not be a book big enough to hold it all! lol
With that being said....there are some "lost" books of the Bible that were not included-and there is one that does list a lot more stories from Jesus' childhood.
In Matthew's Gospel, Bethlehem was the home town of Joseph and Mary. After the birth of Jesus, magi ('wise men') came from the east to worship Jesus, bearing valuable gifts. Because the magi had told King Herod of a future king of the Jews, he sought to have Jesus killed. Having been warned in a dream about Herod's intentions, Jospeh took Mary and Jesus to Egypt, where they stayed until Herod died, probably a period ofd several years. After Herod's death, they began the return journey to their home in Bethlehem but, again being warned in a dream of further danger in Judea, turned aside and instead travelled to a city called Nazareth in Galilee.
Luke's Gospel
In Luke's Gospel, Nazareth was the home town of Joseph and Mary, not Bethlehem. After Jesus was born, poor shepherds came to visit Jesus, because angels told them about him. A few weeks after the birth of Jesus, the young family travelled to Jerusalem to present Jesus at the temple, making a small sacrifice to God. At the temple, Simeon immediately recognised Jesus as the Mressaih and blessed him. Then, Anna, a prophetess also recognised Jesus. After completing their duty in the temple, Joseph, Mary and Jesus returned peacefully to their home in Nazareth, travelling to Judea each year for the Passover. When Jesus was about 12 years old, his parents lost him, but later found him in the temple, discussing religion with the learned ones.
Most Christians believe that Jesus Christs role on earth was to preach repentance to preach forgiveness to preach salvation and to die for the sins of humanity and to rise in glory to eternal life.
The New Testament is the Holy Book that refers to the life of Jesus Christ and the life of the early christians

I think its to symbolise the moving of the stone to the cave Jesus was in. An egg symbolises new life (like when the chick breaks from the egg) and Jesus did rise on this day and came back to life.
According to the Bible, when Jesus died on the cross, certain holy people from the Old Testament were raised to life and appeared to many in Jerusalem after his resurrection. This event is described in the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament.

John the Baptist was baptising people in the early years of Jesus' life. He baptised Jesus.
The three most important areas of Jesus life was his baptism, setting him out for the mission. His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, His death and Resurrection.
