What happened on the 29th of January 2010?

Here's what happend to me:It was a typical Friday afterschool. I was going into the art room for another art class session, my BFf on my heels. We arrived in the room, set our bags and coats down, and waited for our project lesson. My BFF went to the bathroom, so I sat in an empty chair with a box on the table. Mason, a seventh grader, sat next to me. I checked out the messages on my cell as he asked what my name was. I didn't hear him, so the art instrutcor, James, told him my name. (let's fastforward twenty minutes later) Lindsey and Michael (on of my crushes) were working on the project along with a bunch of other kids. I told James that there wasn't any cardboard left, so he told Mason to show me wear the cardboard boxes were. Things were getting a little chaotic, so Mason put his hand on my back and said, "Let's go, Angel. Don't look back." Wow, I thought. Wow. He opened the door and walked through it. I followed him and he closed the door. Then, he started talking: "How are you?" he asked. "Good," I blushed. "Your face is red," he pointed out. "Oh," I replied. (note, I was talking in a quiet voice during this time) "Is it naturally red?" he inquired. "Uh, yeah," I answered. As we reached the stage (with the set on it and everything), Mason told me to walk faster. I noticed a weird dude in a winter coat who was sauntering towards us. The guy began running, and Mason fled past me. I quickly ran after him. I lost track of where he went, so I looked around the set on the stage. Mason popped out of no where and lead me to the boxes. Well, we couldn't find any. We walked down the hall again. Again, he asked, "How are you?" "I'm doing good," I answered. "Are you naturally shy?" he asked. "Yes," I answered. "Are you lonely?" he asked, I could hear the humor in his voice. "Um, no,"I replied. Then, he started to sing and I laughed a little. We reached the art room, and he opened the door for me. Well, I found some boxes on the floor and used those. Soon, Michael didn't matter anymore. It was all about Mason. And then Michael, but whenever I thought of Mason, sigh. An hour later, I murmured to myself quietly, "I'm going to write my name on my box." To my horror, Michael said, "Why is your voice so quiet?" "Me?" I asked. "Yeah." Uhh.." I said, looking at my BFF. Then, she said something like, "Because that's her thing. Don't mess with her thing." I felt like crying in shame. Why? Why can't I hold a conversation with a boy? WHY?! Any advice?
